2016 Toyota BRIT Awards

Toyota have rewarded its best performing centres nationwide in its annual BRIT Awards, recognising excellence in all areas of work across its rail network.

'BRIT' stands for Best Retailer in Town, reflecting Toyota President Akio Toyoda's aspiration for retailers to focus on the importance of delivering the best service at a local area.

To determine which of the 184 Toyota sites are eligible for the award, performance is recorded over several different categories of the business which would include: Best Toyota Group, Customer, People, New Vehicle Sales, Used Vehicle Sales, After Sales, Reputation and Reach, Business and Toyota Financial Services. This is monitored monthly and the top two centres of each category are invited to the awards evening.

The award ceremony was held in London at the St Pancras Hotel and our Barnsley Management Team, Operations Director and Managing Director attended this prestigious event.

Barnsley had not only been nominated once but three times and were runners up in both the After Sales and Best Toyota Group categories. However, Barnsley were the winners of their third nomination - New Vehicle Sales.

It was a fantastic opportunity and performance made by our Barnsley team and it recognises the hard work and dedication to the business and to Toyota. Well done team!
