Motor Trade Partnership

Burrow Motor Company Ltd is proud to be a member of the South Yorkshire Motor Trade Partnership, working in conjunction with Trading Standards.

The Motor Trade Partnership is a way for businesses in the Motor Trade to show that they are committed to being fair and honest in their dealings with customers. Administered by the four Trading Standards Services of South Yorkshire, the aim is to increase consumer satisfaction and so, reduce the number of complaints. The partnership continually works to improve the services of local vehicle retailers. It is part of their continuing efforts to ensure that consumers and businesses benefit from this new approach which promotes best practice within the motor trade.

Membership is voluntary so by choosing to be in the scheme, Burrows Motor Company are showing a positive commitment to customer care and satisfaction. Trading standards regularly check all members of the partnership to ensure that their systems and policies are in line with the terms of the scheme. Members have to comply with all the laws relating to their business and provide additional consumer safeguards. If you do make a complaint, the business must follow the approved customer complaints procedure. This will involve a nominated person who is responsible for ensuring that a complaint is dealt with quickly and fairly.
