Local Business Development Consultant

We are looking for a Local Business Development Consultant to join our team at our Business Centre team in Barnsley on Whaley Road.

What are the day to day duties?

  • Identifying target sectors and specific geographical areas to focus outbound activity
  • Engaging in regular, targeted conquesting
  • Implementing campaigns and digital, physical and experimental marketing activities to be selected as the customers' fleet vehicle provider
  • Identifying and attending Networking meetings to help grow your opportunity pipeline
  • Presenting the benefits of Toyota fleet vehicles including funding models professionally to customers in the way that suits them whether physically, digitally or on the phone in a consultative manner
  • Focusing on maximising the local opportunity for KINTO ONE Toyota's own mobility company, with business customers and small to medium fleets in our area
  • Supporting KINTO leasing being offered where suitable to all business enquiries across our centres, working within FCA guidelines to drive improved sales and customer experience
  • Utilising the Fleet CRM and internal DMS systems to inform your conversations with customers
  • Updating details and adding all prospects and activities to the CRM system in an accurate and timely manner
  • Working closely with the Business Centre Manager and Sales Support Coordinator to ensure accurate forecasting and reporting

The successful candidate will receive full training and the opportunity to work with one of the most dynamic and exciting brands.

You will have:

  • Good quality customer service experience, preferably within a dealership environment
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with customers
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • A full driving license valid in the UK with no disqualifications
