So, how does the charging process work? It's easy and is the same procedure as with every other electric vehicle. You plug it into your wallbox at home or at any public charging station in your area. You may also plug it into a normal electric socket although this is the slowest method of charging and not recommended as a regular way of charging.

The range is expected to be a WLTP 124* miles. Subject to homologation closer to the launch.
What kind of plug does the All-New Mazda MX-30 use?
The vehicle can be charged at any public charging station that is equipped with a CCS or type 2 plug. It can also be charged at home using a wallbox or a domestic socket.
How long will it take for the battery to be fully charged?
Charging times vary according to how you do it. On the go, you may need only 40 minutes if you use a 50kW fast-charging station. Using a less powerful station (e.g 11kW) you may need 4.5 hours*. Overnight charging with your domestic plug at home may be completed in as little as 14.3 hours*.
Is the battery covered by a warranty?
Yes, the battery in the All-New Mazda MX-30 is covered by an 8-year or 100,000 mile warranty, whichever comes first. In case of an unexpected malfunction, the warranty covers all battery repair and/ or replacement.
