Toyota and Uber have a long history of working closely together,

announce the launch of an enhanced Taxi, PCO and Uber Driver Programme, featuring competitive
rates across a wide selection of Toyota Hybrid, Plug-in Hybrid and Electric
Vehicles.
Hybrid
Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) are powered by an internal combustion engine and one or more electric motors, which use energy stored in batteries. A HEV does not need to be plugged in as the battery charges itself through regenerative braking and by the internal combustion engine.
Plug-in Hybrid
A Plug-In Hybrid Vehicle (PHEV), takes you a step closer to a full electric car. As the name suggests, they have to be plugged in to charge its electric battery and still feature a petrol engine. With a bigger battery than a self-charging hybrid, you can travel further on pure electric.
Electric
Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) do not have a tailpipe and run on battery power alone. They offer a good driving range and can be charged using a 3-pin plug, home charger, or public charger. Charging is usually cheaper than fueling a traditional car, and in cities, you can drive in low emission and congestion zones for free, with some places even offering free public charging.

Toyota Financial Services may pay the Toyota Centre a commission for introducing you to them. Commission may be calculated based on either a fixed amount relating to the vehicle you are financing, a percentage of the amount you borrow, or a combination of both.
