Our Apprentices Gathered together at our Doncaster site and had the opportunity to get to know one another

We Held an induction day on Thursday 8th of September which gave our new apprentices the opportunity to meet each other and to make them feel part of the Burrows family as well providing information on their training plans and support available in terms of welfare. They also had some fun by taking part in group team building exercises, fun team games and enjoyed some pizza.

The apprentices came from seven of our dealerships across south Yorkshire and Worksop where much of the time was spent bringing them together as one team. We were also delighted to welcome Pete Emmerson from Toyota GB Academy who spoke in more detail about their training programmes as well as providing insightful information on the future of the automotive industry and he varied careers in automotive retailing.

Steve Burrows, Dean Cooper, Rebecca Burrows and Steve Davidson welcomed the young people to the company and went on to speak about the company’s cultures and values – everything that Burrows stand for.

We are delighted to inform you that the apprentices are setting in very well.

The search for our new stars has begun. Nicola Thompson will be visiting local schools throughout January and February to speak about to the year 11 students about the apprentice’s opportunities at Burrows starting 2023.

In addition, this year we are launching our new recruitment campaign “Kick Start Your Career” which is aimed at Students leaving collage who are looking for technical and non-technical traineeships.
