Search For A Star Programme held at Toyota Sheffield on 16th March.


Nearly 40 young people and there parents attended the event and were welcomed by Dean Cooper and Nicola Thompson who shared information about the the company its apprenticeships and its programmes.

During the session, three sessions focused on Customer Care, with Debbie Palfreyman as the speaker. The second session was talking about being a vehicle technician and featured Paul Lindley and Georgina waits. The third session was being an Apprentice at Burrows and was hosted by Jack Hodgson, Steve Davidson, Jordan Batty, Kiera Owen, Paige Ullet, Ruby Kemp and Jack Pidd spoke about there experiences of being an apprentice at Burrows and answered questions from the audience.

After the sessions, a career speed networking session was conducted to give the young people a chance to ask questions about career pathways, life at Burrows, and the benefits of the apprenticeship programme. The parents/ guardians had a separate session where they could ask questions to Steve Burrows , Dean Cooper, Steve Davidson, Adele pinder and representatives from Toyota training providers about the apprenticeship Programs.
