The Sheffield Children’s Hospital is only one of the five dedicated pediatric major trauma centers in England? They provide care and service for over 375,000 children and young people across south Yorkshire, Bassetlaw and North Lincolnshire.

This year, the fundraising team at the hospital have been working hard to raise money for a helipad, they need to raise £6 million in total for the building to start on the roof. Currently air ambulances land in Western park during daylight hours and are stretched across a busy road using the pedestrian crossing. A Helipad will provide patients with privacy and dignity as they arrive at Sheffield children’s.
