At Burrows, community engagement is at the heart of our values. Since 1999, we have been actively involved in collaborating with local charities and organisations, building meaningful relationships throughout the regions of South Yorkshire, Worksop, and York.
Here are just a few examples of the charities and organizations we proudly support.
Since 2018 we have been in partnership with Bluebell Wood, a children and young adult's hospice who offer palliative care and support to families.
We have supplied them with a number of vehicles over the years to help keep them on the move which has helped reduce the cost of travel for staff to visit families in their own homes and to attend fundraising events.
Bluebell Wood are here to help every family who need them to make the very best memories and we are proud to be a part of their community.
You may recognise these 2 chaps, Rob and Dave Nicholson, from their tv appearances on Channel 5 or when you have visited the local and famous Cannon Hall Farm.
The brothers are helping to conserve the country’s stock of Shire Horses and we have supplied them with a Hilux to help with their program. Our Hilux has been also been vital in the care of their animals.
“We have used it to take goats for emergency caesareans and we’ve used it to transport a sick Shire Horse to a horse hospital that saved its life.” - Rob Nicholson.

In April 2023, we were proud to announce our new partnership with St Leonard's Hospice. By providing their team with the all-electric Mazda MX-30, they can provide specialist hospice care to around 550 people a year in the comfort of their own homes.
Steve Burrows said, “We’re proud to support St Leonard’s. I’ve always believed that local businesses should support local causes - we’ll continue to support local good causes and I hope to spread the word so that more businesses will get involved and do similar things.”
James Wainwright, Head of Fundraising at St Leonard’s Hospice, said: “Thanks to the team at Burrows Mazda for this amazing donation. Our focus continues to be on delivering excellent care and support to all our patients, their families and loved ones, and this would not be possible without such generous support from our community.”
Back in June 2023, we had the pleasure of handing over a Toyota Corolla Touring Sports to assist The Sheffield Children's Hospital fundraising team to help with their invaluable work in raising money for the hospital charity.
Did you know that The Sheffield Children’s Hospital is only one of five dedicated paediatric Major Trauma Centres in England? They provide care and service for over 375,000 children and young people across South Yorkshire, Bassetlaw and North Lincolnshire.

From football, to cricket, to cheerleading, we support a number of youth sports teams across South Yorkshire, York and Worksop. Just to name a few are:
