The Corolla is back!

The world's best-selling model is making a return

The Toyota Corolla has not been part of the UK model range since 2008, with more than 45 million vehicles sold worldwide since its introduction in 1966 - it has been named the world's best-selling model. Toyota revealed that we would see a new Toyota Auris early 2019 whereas now we will see the Corolla name return replacing the Auris name and adopting the Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA) platform.

The all-new Corolla will be built at Toyota's Burnaston factory in the UK. It will feature a more dynamic look with a stronger differentiation between the compact, sport hatchback and the sleek, refined Touring Sports wagon. Both of the models will be available with a 114bhp 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine. The hybrid choices will be a 120bhp 1.8-litre or a 178bhp 2.0-litre engine.

The Toyota Corolla models will be available with a choice of 11 body colours, including 4 new shades. The new model will also be available with 4 optional bi-tone colour scheme, combining a black roof, pillars and lower grille surround with a contrasting body colour.

The materials and trim finishes have high visual and tactile quality, including satin chrome plating and paint, piano black elements, synthetic and genuine leather and a choice of cloth, Alcantara or genuine leather upholstery.
