Our Service Departments are now open to customers who require Service, MOT and maintenance work for their vehicle. Following the most recent advice from the Government, we are delighted to announce that our Sales Departments will be opening from Monday 1st June 2020.
Here at Burrows the safety of our customers and team members is our absolute top priority. That’s why we have introduced certain measures to help protect your safety when visiting one of our showrooms. These strict measures are in place in every dealership and workshop to ensure the safety of everyone there, both staff and customers. Below are the steps Burrows have taken to increase customer safety during your showroom visit:
Upon entering one of our showrooms you will a sanitisation station. We kindly ask you to use this. This applies to both our customers and team members. Gloves will also be available should you wish to use them. You will then be guided through a one-way system through the showroom where strict 2m distancing rules will apply.
Once in the showroom we kindly ask you to remain a safe 2-metre distance from other customers and our team members. To ensure this is adhered to we have placed clear markings on the floor to help you with this.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
All our team members have been issued Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) which includes gloves and face masks. All team members gloves will be sanitised regularly and especially after each customer interaction. Disposable gloves will also be made available for all our customers but feel free to wear your own should you wish.
Wherever possible all documents will be sent to our customers electronically to minimise unnecessary contact. However, should any documents need to be presented to one of our customers it will be done at a safe distance or from behind a Perspex screen. Any documentation requiring a signature will be done using a sanitised pen.
Customer Test Drives
Here at Burrows we feel it is vital our customers experience just how great our cars are to drive which is why we are offering unaccompanied test drives for our customers. Please note for insurance purposes we will require your driving license, secondary ID and your national insurance number for all our unaccompanied test drives.
Used Car Videos
Should you make an enquiry on one of our quality used cars, one of our Customer Consultants will send you a video of the car in question. These videos will show both the interior and exterior of the vehicle in great detail. Upon completion of the video, the vehicle will be sanitised and will remain locked until the time of the customer appointment.
Hygiene and Sanitisation
All our showrooms are cleaned and disinfected on a regular basis. In addition to this, before every customer showroom visit our Sales areas will be cleaned and sanitised including desks and chairs. All surfaces will also be cleaned, disinfected and sanitised regularly.
With regards to taking payments, we will no longer be accepting cash payments from our customers. All payments will need to be contactless, via bank transfer or telephone payment where possible. If a contactless payment is made the machine will be sanitised before and after every use.
Collecting Your New Car
When a customer comes to one of our showrooms to collect the keys to their new car we will enforce a strict policy of only ever having one customer handover at a time. Our Customer Consultants will create a bespoke video for each customer, explaining all the features of their car and how to operate the general controls.
