Support Dogs UK

Our sponsorship

Support Dogs is a UK charity that has been providing, training and supporting dogs since 1992 for people with various medical conditions. The aim of the charity is to increase the independence and the quality of life for those who require it.

They provide help with everyday tasks for people with physical disabilities, give advance warnings of seizures for people with epilepsy and provide safety and support for children with autism and their families.

Support Dogs does not receive funding from the government, they simply rely on the donations and fundraising. It costs approximately £20,000 to train a support dog from assessment to graduation which can take up to two years.

Have you met Ruby the Burrows Support Dog puppy? She will soon begin training to be part of the Support Dogs UK team - we are delighted to support such an excellent charity.
