Important customer notice:
The Government have announced that it will be reintroducing MOT testing from the 1st August 2020 as COVID-19 restrictions are slowly lifted - this means that your vehicle must have an MOT test if it is due after the 1st August 2020.
Vehicles with an MOT due date between 30 March 2020 and 1st August 2020 will still receive a 6-month exemption, making them valid for 18 months rather than the usual 12. However, you must still keep your car in a roadworthy condition.
All vehicles that are 3 years old or more legally require an MOT test every 12 months. Vehicles without a valid MOT can be fined up to £1,000 - so it is important your vehicle always had a valid MOT certificate.
