The Burrows Search for a Star scheme is an apprenticeship programme for young individuals who are looking for an apprentice opportunity within the motor trade.
At the start of the new year we will be visiting schools across South Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire to talk to students about the Burrows Search for a Star campaign and the working life as an apprentice at Burrows Motor Company. This will give you the chance to ask any questions that you may have.
Students, parents and guardians are invited to the fun Dealership Open Evenings to give the students access to the insights of the different areas of Burrows which include a tour of the workshop, speeches from staff, meeting some of the Burrows Toyota team and members of the Toyota Academy.

January 2020
You with a parent or carer will attend an open evening event at our Burrows Toyota Sheffield dealership. At this event you will hear presentations from Burrows Directors and Senior Toyota personnel providing you with more details about the apprenticeship programme.
In addition to this you will have a tour of our facilities and will take part in a career speed networking event during where you can ask Burrows and Toyota representatives questions about their working life. This will provide you with a great insight into working within the automotive industry.

April 2020
You will attend an Employability Skills Training and Selection Day, which will run at the same Burrows Toyota dealerships. This will involve half a day training on skills and mock interviews before each attendee is interviewed for the apprentice position by a Burrows personnel. July - August 2020
If you are successful from the second stage of the programme, you will undertake a 1 week work experience anywhere within the company you wish to work in. All attendees will receive a certificate of attendance and a reference.
September 2020
Successful students will then be offered a Vehicle Technician, Customer Service or a Business Administration apprenticeship within Burrows.
