Formidably tough, yet benefiting from advanced technologies to keep you safe, in control and fully connected while on the move. The new range introduces the Toyota Safety Sense package of active safety features (optional on Active/Icon grades. Standard on Invincible/Invincible X). Every Hilux model comes with a whole host of intelligent safety features which help keep you and your passengers safe. Check some of these out below:
The new Toyota Hilux features a new 2.4-litre 6-speed diesel engine which generates 150bhp at 3,400rpm and offers 400Nm of torque from between 1,600 and 2,000rpm. This is 15% more and from 600rpm lower than the outgoing, and already impressive 2.5 litre engine.
This fantastic new engine is also available in either manual or transmission. The manual emits just 185g/km CO2 emissions and returns 40.4mpg on the combined cycle. This powerful engine is certainly no slouch either, as the 0-62mph sprint time is taken care of in just 12.8 seconds. It can also achieve a top speed of 106mph.
Manual transmission isn't for everyone so we also have the 2.4-litre engine available as an automatic. In automatic transmission, CO2 emissions stand at 204g/km and it will also achieve 36.2mpg (combined cycle). It will actually cover 0-62mpg a little quicker than the manual in just 12.3 seconds and has a top speed of 106mph.
