Parts Advisor - Toyota Sheffield

We are looking for a Parts Advisor to join our team at our Toyota dealership in Sheffield on Penistone Road.

What are the day to day duties?

  • Order and provide parts to internal and external customers through various sales channels
  • Provide high quality service, both in person and over the phone, to the customer and assist them in identifying their vehicle part(s) needs, including components such as engine parts, brakes, filters and accessories
  • Utilise the electronic database and other resources to accurately identify and locate the correct part(s) for the customer's vehicle
  • Provide knowledgeable advice and recommendations to customers regarding parts selection, compatibility, and installation procedures
  • Process parts orders promptly and accurately, including pricing and invoicing
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels by conducting stock checks
  • Assist in receiving and inspecting incoming parts shipments, verifying quantities, and ensuring quality standards are met
  • Organize and maintain the parts department, including shelving, bins, and displays, to facilitate easy access and efficient workflow
  • Communicate with team members to fulfill customer requests and resolve any issues or concerns
  • Uphold company policies and procedures, including safety protocols, customer service standards, and compliance with regulatory requirements

You will have:

  • Effective customers service and communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts and repair procedures to non-technical team members and customers
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety protocols and quality standards
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in processing orders and maintaining records
  • Computer skills to utilise the electronic ordering system
