The Kia Sorento Plug-in Hybrid is a vehicle which makes a real statement. It offers excellent levels of superior comfort and now for the first time ever comes with plug-in hybrid technology. Its powertrain is made up of a 1.6-litre four-cylinder turbo petrol engine, an electric motor which produces 90bhp and a 13.8kWh battery. All these combine to produce a total of 261bhp. The Sorento PHEV also boasts an electric only range of 30 miles so most daily commutes can powered by electric only meaning most journeys will be emissions free driving.
The Kia Sorento PHEV comes equipped with a highly intelligent all-wheel drive system which automatically distributes torque and traction to each wheel. This provides traction to each individual wheel, thus providing the vehicle with more grip, meaning rough terrain and difficult driving surfaces are no problem for the Sorento PHEV. Terrain Mode Select (TMS) also lets you adapt your drive at the touch of a button. There are a whole host of Drive Modes and Terrain Modes.
