Kia Niro Plug-in Hybrid

Combined fuel consumption of 217.3mpg

The Kia Niro Plug-in Hybrid is a highly practical crossover which offers incredible fuel economy and ultra low emissions. The Niro Plug-in Hybrid can run solely on electric power for up to 34 miles but when the electric power runs out, it switches seamlessly to petrol power so you have the best of both worlds.

There are six stylish exterior colours to choose from: Midnight Black; Clear White; Graphite; Rich Espresso; White Pearl and Gravity Blue. You'll find the outstanding specification further down this page.

Under the Niro Plug-in Hybrid's skin you'll find a highly advanced high-capacity 8.9 kWh battery pack which powers a 44.5kWh electric motor. This is then paired with a highly efficient but powerful 1.6-litre four-cylinder GDi petrol engine which is mated to a smooth six-speed double-clutch automatic gearbox.

Efficiency is further increased through regenerative braking technology. This is where kinetic energy is used to recharge the battery whilst the car is braking or coasting.
