The Kia Stinger is all about performance. Whilst it's extremely at home cruising on long motorway journeys, just one poke of the accelerator unleashes blistering pace and acceleration thanks to the three powerful engines which are available.
We have a 2.0-litre T-GDi engine which is one of two petrol engines available. This particular engine produces 244bhp which propels the Stinger from 0-62mph in just 5.8 seconds. It can also achieve atop speed of 149mph.
For those who prefer diesel power there's a 2.2-litre CRDi turbo diesel engine which produces 197bhp. It will do 0-62mph in 7.3 seconds and has a top speed of 143mph. A very impressive combined fuel consumption figure of 48.7mpg gives it a touring range more than 600 miles.
The final engine in the line-up is our pick of the bunch, a 3.3-litre T-GDi petrol engine which produces an astonishing 365bhp. All this power means it will do the 0-62mph sprint time in a mere 4.7 seconds and will max out at a dizzying 168mph.
All three engines are mated to a highly intelligent 8-speed automatic gearbox and feature state-of-the-art electronic driver aids and connectivity systems.
